Wayne Barrington, 78

Wayne A. Barrington, 78, of Belle Plaine, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at his home. Wayne was born on October 27, 1933, in Cozad, NE, a son of Lawrence and Pearl (Haynes) Barrington. He grew up in Blue Rapids, KS, and attended Blue Rapids High School. He married Betty Jean Vaught on November 18, 1953, in Marysville, Marshall County, KS. Wayne worked as a well driller, a service technician for Minnesota Valley Breeders Association, and a bus driver for New Prague Schools and Mystic Lake Casino. He is survived by his wife; 12 children Dwayne Barrington, Owatonna, Terry Barrington, Belle Plaine, Beverly Mann, Auburn, NE, Jocelyn (Mike) Young, Oketo, KS, Roger Barrington, Montgomery, Gary Barrington, Jordan, Jeffrey Barrington, Belle Plaine, Jimmy (Jodie) Barrington, Lonsdale, Susan (Ron) Tuma, New Prague, Bobby Barrington, Belle Plaine, David Barrington, New Prague, and Randy Barrington, Belle Plaine; 20 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and a brother Lawrence (Charlie) Barrington, Blue Rapids, KS. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers Glen Barrington and Arlen Haynes. Funeral services will be held in Kansas at a later date, with interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Blue Rapids, KS. Arrangements are with the Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
