Weather makes it tough for runners, spectators

The New Prague Half-Marathon had a large turnout Saturday, May 14, with 1,240 people registered at race time, excluding the relay teams, despite the wet and cold conditions. Of that total, there were 1,045 who finished the race.
Winning in the men’s overall division was Patrick Russell of Duluth, who finished the race in 1 hour, 8 minutes and 1 second. It was not quite a minute short of the course record of 1:07:09, set by Eric Hartmark of Roseville last year.
It was a personal best
