William Keske, 67

William Francis Keske, 67, of Webster, died Friday, April 25, 2008, at The Lodge in Elko.

Bill was born January 24, 1941, at home in Webster, a son of Raymond and Irene (Trinka) Keske. He attended school in Webster and Northfield. Bill helped his parents on the farm and later went to work for various construction companies until retirement a few years ago. He lived in Webster most of his life and was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church in Webster. Bill actively enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, camping, hunting and just being at one with nature. He also enjoyed cooking, gardening, painting, wood carving, sketching, bird watching, restoring old vehicles, sitting in his shed with his dog Luna, and watching the history and cooking channels on television. Bill especially enjoyed his cabin on German Lake near Cleveland.

He is survived by a daughter Kelly (Jorge) Tamez; grandchildren Caitlin, Morgan and Isabel Tamez; a sister Lanna (John) Baker; a brother Brent (Michelle) Keske; several nieces and nephews; special friend Betty Nelson and family; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Mark.

Funeral services were held at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Webster on Tuesday, April 29, at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Donovan Riley officiating.

Interment was at the church cemetery.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the White Funeral Home in Lonsdale, and at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
