Winter 2.0
After a stretch of warm weather with temperatures in the 60s in mid-February and all of the snow long-melted, winter roared back to Montgomery on Sunday and Monday, March 12 and 13. According to the National Weather Service, snowfall totals were scattered with Le Center receiving 3.8 inches, and Faribault getting 5 inches. New Prague received 2.1 inches, while Waseca received 6 inches. The snow and winds caused two-hour late starts for several schools, including Tri-City United on Monday. It also made for a snowy commute for Michael Pichotta (left), Dalton Eotvos, and his little brother, Cody behind him. (Wade Young Photo)
