Woman sentenced in murder-for-hire plot
A Le Sueur woman was sentenced Wednesday, April 5, to 15 years in prison for her participation in a murder-for-hire conspiracy last year.
Blanche Elizabeth Wilson, 42, was sentenced for her part in a plan to have her ex-husband murdered. According to the Le Sueur County Attorney’s office, her sentence was a “middle-of-the box guideline sentence” for her participation in the conspiracy.
Her co-conspirator and mother, Linda Kay Bloom, received an 11-year sentence in October, 2016.
The investigation was a cooperative effort between the Blue Earth County and the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Departments.
