Women rule 2016 Triathlon

Seven of the top 10 Elysian Rookie Triathlon finishers were women. The top woman was within seven seconds of the overall championship, which went to Erik Lundstrom, age 17, of Northfield (1:04.07). Bette Rowley, age 31, of Burnsville, finished first for the ladies (1:04.14). The event was held Saturday, July 9.
