Work continues on city budget

The New Prague City Council continued work on its proposed 2011 budget at a special Monday meeting, Nov. 29. While the council felt the budget was close to being done, there were a few changes suggested.

Among them was the removal of a request from the New Prague Fire Department for a new ladder truck and a final decision on funds for the Economic Development Authority (EDA). The council will discuss final action on its budget at its Monday, Dec. 6, meeting.
