Wrestlers finish fourth at state

The New Prague Trojans display their fourth place trophy at the State Wrestling Tournament Thursday, Feb. 28.

The New Prague Trojans lost a 33-24 match to Foley in the State Class AA third place match. 

The Trojans took an early 9-3 lead, but lost five of the next six matches and couldn't get back into the contest despite a late rally.

On Friday four Trojans will compete in the State individual meet. Wrestling for New Prague are Griffin Parriott (120), James Berg (126), Morgan Parriott (152) and Nathan Preston (220). Wrestling starts at 9 a.m. at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul
