Wrestlers win two at Le Sueur meet
New Prague defeated Blue Earth and Le Sueur-Henderson Tuesday, Dec. 21, in a triangular meet at Le Sueur.
The Trojans are taking part this week in the Rumble on the Red at the FargoDome in Fargo, ND.
The Trojans return to action Thursday, Jan. 6, when they host Shakopee.

New Prague won five of their first seven matches to take a 30-6 lead against Blue Earth. Earning falls were Griffin Parriott (103), Trevor Westerlund (112), Morgan Parriott (130), Dakota Cole (135), Nathan Preston (189) and Brandon Svoboda (285). Morgan Parriott's win was against the No. 5-ranked wrestler in Class A. Also winning for the Trojans were Bryor McGuiggan (140) by forfeit, Alex Mueller (160), Cody Sirek (171) and Jesse Tuma (215). Mueller's 17-14 decision came against the No. 7 ranked wrestler in Class A.
Trojans 41, Giants 31
Svoboda pinned the No. 5-ranked wrestler in Class A to give New Prague a 41-31 win over Le Sueur-Henderson.
The match came down to the final contest despite the Trojans jumping to a 30-0 lead. Also getting wins for New Prague were Griffin Parriott by fall, Westerlund, James Berg (119), and Morgan Parriott by forfeit, Richard Reinartz (125) and Mueller by major decision and Dakota Cole by decision.
