Zweber brothers reign over Snoball
New Prague High School’s 2013 Snoball will be reigned over by brothers. At Monday’s coronation ceremony senior Kyle Zweber was crowned king and junior Nathan Zweber was crowned prince.
The sons of Tom and Barb Zweber of Elko New Market, the two said they were surprised. After being named candidates last week the two had some good natured teasing that they would both be royalty.
Completing the Snoball royalty are senior Queen Janae Hull, daughter of Termaine Hull, junior Princess Emma Deihl, daughter of Kiffin and Lori Deihl, Duke Brennen Dedor, son of Mitchell and Traci Dedor, and Duchess Jordan Meyer, daughter of Paul and Jean Meyer.
Master of ceremonies for the ceremony at the high school auditorium were Danni Barr and Courtney Reger. Sophie Busch, Cody Sirek and king candidate Andy McNab sang the song for Snoball "Better Together" by Jack Johnson.
Snoball continues this week with various dress up days and activities at the high school. Sporting events on Friday, Feb. 1, include three home games. The gymnastics team faces Farmington at 6:30 p.m. at the gymnastics center, girls hockey takes on Shakopee at the New Prague Area Community Center at 7:15 p.m. and girls basketball against Northfield in the high school’s main gym at 7:30 p.m.
Snoball wraps up with the dance from 8 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the high school gym. The New Prague Area Educational Foundation is sponsoring the dance. Zweber brothers reign over Snoball Inviting Teens To Faith
