Lucille Gregor, 94
Lucille Gregor, age 94, of Waseca, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2024, in Waseca with her family by her side.
Born on September 8, 1929, in rural Waterville, Minnesota, Lucille was the daughter of Alfred and Esther (Stoering) Haase. She was baptized, confirmed, and attended school at St. Peter’s “Bell” Lutheran Church in rural Waterville. She graduated from Waterville High School in 1947. Lucille married Bernard Gregor on September 20, 1950. He preceded her in death on November 18, 1972. Together they had two children, Bonnie and Leon.
Lucille was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking, crocheting, quilting and spending time with family and friends. She was employed at Brown Printing Co. in Waseca for 30 years before retiring in 1994. She was a dedicated employee and worked other jobs before and after her career at Brown Printing. Lucille was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca for 50 years.
Lucille is loved and remembered by her daughter, Bonnie (Randy) Haley of Rochester; son, Leon (Sheri) Gregor of Morristown; grandchildren, Melissa Haley, Miranda (Andy) Hopkins, Mark (Liz) Haley, Derrick (Cheryl) Gregor, Skylar Gregor and Jordan Gregor; great grandchildren, Gage and Remmi Hopkins and Nora and Grant Haley; step-great-grandchildren, Ava and Reid Hopkins and Savannah and Matthew Lee. She is also survived by her sister, Delores Jacobsen of Sandvika, Norway; brothers-in-law, Clarence Dannhoff of St. James and Arlie (Carol) Gregor of Mapleton, sister-in-law, Joan “Jody” Gregor of Waterville; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; brother, Roland Haase; and sister, Marlene Dannhoff. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law; two nieces; a nephew; and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca. Visitation was held on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery in Waterville.
