Arnold Joseph Kukacka, 96
Arnold Joseph Kukacka, 96, of Montgomery, died on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at his home in Montgomery. Visitation and prayer service will be held on Friday, Jan. 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Interment will take place at Bohemian National Cemetery in spring.
Arnold was born on June 14, 1923, in Montgomery on the family farm to Joseph and Anna (Tarba) Kukacka. Arnold was united in marriage to Delores Duffney on November 18, 1941, in Montgomery.
Arnold was a bus driver for 43 years for the Montgomery School District. He was very committed, and enjoyed it very much.
He also worked as a milk route driver and also for Green Giant for ten years. Arnold raised his family, owned a farm, and worked hard his whole life. He retired in 1995.
Arnold collected books (farm books, textbooks, and maps, old papers) as well as printing books and scrapbooking everything for his kids.
He traveled to Canada, Alaska, Texas, and Hawaii, and loved sunsets and northern lights.
He also enjoyed playing accordion and listening to old-time music.
Arnold is survived by his children, Ardell and Connie; grandchildren, Debra, Donald, Robert, Steve, and Sue; great-grandchildren, Domanick, Delyla, Breya, Michael, Kallie, Ashley, Justin, Zachary, David, and Thomas; great-great-grandchildren, Alex, Damian, Jazmyn, Temperance, Jovanny, Xaviar, and Weston.
Arnold is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Kukucka; granddaughter, Delyla; parents; brothers, George and Harry; sister, Esteline.
