Austin S. Kristiansen, 21
Austin S. Kristiansen, 21 years old of Le Center, Minn., passed away suddenly of injuries suffered at Meadow Valley MX Park in Millville, Minn., Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023. Austin was born Jan. 24, 2002. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Kurt and Sherry (Ohmann) Kristiansen, brother Timmy, special friend Kalli Ryks, beloved dog Sprocket, grandparents Kenneth and Gail Kristiansen, grandparents Stephen and Rebecca Ohmann, Uncle Keith (wife Jennifer and cousins Claire and Colin) Kristiansen, Uncle Kevin (Corinne Breer) Kristiansen, God Mother Aunt Susan (cousins Jack and Sean) Kristiansen, Auntie Jen (husband Frank and cousins Kylie, Lexie and Bentley) Herrick, Uncle Stevie Ohmann and many family and friends. Austin was a graduate of Tri-City United Class of 2020. He was involved with honor society and varsity golf. In high school, he worked for Motokazie, Casey’s and Pine Creek Kennels. He went on to attend DCTC in Rosemount while working as a pre-apprentice with Element Electric in Lakeville, Minn. Austin earned his AAS degree in electrical construction and maintenance. He became an apprentice for IBEW Local 110 and continued to work for Element Electric with owner Chris Steinke. Austin truly enjoyed his time with the company. If you were lucky enough to have known Austin, you know he had an infectious giggle and a smile that warmed your heart. He was the proudest big brother of Timmy and it showed by all he talked about him.
Wherever life takes you and all the adventures you will go on Timmy. He’ll be there with you and forever be proud of you.
Austin was passionate in everything he did and always went all-in. He had a joy for many activities including, but definitely not limited to hunting, fishing, camping, hockey, bow fishing, golf, softball, bowling, disc golf and of course his love for dirt biking. Win or lose, Austin was always at the finish line with a thumbs up or knucks. Austin had a love for all varieties of music and of course he always sang out loud, even when he did not know the lyrics. We are going to miss that. Austin had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, no questions asked. He considered and thought of everyone as his friend or bud. That was his way.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, godfather Uncle Kelly Kristiansen and good friend James Kerber. Austin will be deeply missed and will always hold a special place in all our hearts.
We would love you to come and honor his life at White Funeral Home in Lonsdale, Minn., Friday, Sept. 22, 2023. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. with service following.
