Baseball record stands at 7-7 after win over Le Sueur-Henderson

The Titans nabbed an 11-5 win over Waseca despite an early three-run inning on May 7.
The TCU team weathered a scare by Waseca in the second inning where the Titans coughed up three runs. Waseca scored its runs on a double by Zander Fitzsimmons.
The home team captured the lead in the second inning when Dawson Pint’s sac fly scored two runs for TCU.
In the fifth inning, the Titans took the lead for good when Devin Vosejpka singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Sam Barnack singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Two more errors scored runs for TCU in the inning.
Kiern Fisher got the win for TCU Titans. He lasted five innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out three and walking one.
Nick Johnson started the game for TCU Titans. He went two innings, allowing four runs on two hits and striking out one
The Titans collected ten hits on the day. Kayden Factor and Vosejpka each managed multiple hits for TCU. Vosejpka and Factor each had two hits to lead the Titans.

TCU 4, Jordan 13
The Titans struggled to find their groove when they faced Jordan on May 10.
“It was a tough day for TCU,” said Titan Coach Bruce Davis.
Jordan scored five runs in the seventh inning. Adam Kreuser and JT McDermid powered the big inning with RBIs.
Adam Fredrickson was on the hill for TCU. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing nine hits and seven runs while walking one. Kody Glende and Dawson Pint entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two and two-thirds innings and one inning respectively.
The Titans totaled seven hits. Vosejpka and Matthew Feddema each had multiple hits for TCU. Feddema and Vosejpka each had two hits to lead TCU Titans.
Jordan racked up 14 hits. Kyle Hvidsten, Noah Schmitt, McDermid, Logan St. Michaels, and Kreuser all managed multiple hits for Jordan.

TCU 9, LSH 6 (8 innings)
The Titans grabbed the lead in the eighth inning to defeat Le Sueur-Henderson 9-6 on Monday, May 13.
According to Davis, the game was tied at six with TCU batting in the top of the eighth when Vosejpka doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.
Vosejpka led the Titans to victory by driving in five runs. He went 2-for-3 at the plate. Vosejpka drove in runs on a single in the first, a sacrifice fly in the third, and a double in the eighth.
In the first inning, TCU Titans got their offense started when Vosejpka singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Giants tied things up at six by scoring two runs when Zach Berndt singled.
Johnson pitched TCU to victory. He surrendered two runs on three hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three.
Glende started the game for the Titans. He allowed four hits and four runs over four and a third innings, striking out three
TCU saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Vosejpka, Factor, Pint, and Tyler Sladek all managed multiple hits for TCU Titans. Sladek, Pint, Factor, and Vosejpka all had two hits to lead TCU Titans.
The Giants totaled seven hits in the game. Berndt and Tommy Gupton each collected multiple hits.

Next action
The boys have a doubleheader against Sibley East on Thursday, May 16 before their final regular season game on May 18 against St. Peter.
