TCU girls defeat Lady Bucs

The Tri-City United (TCU) girls basketball team trailed for the first 26 minutes of their Thursday, Dec. 28 game with WEM.
But once they took the lead they never relinquished it, pulling out a 62-52 nonconference win over the Buccaneers.
WEM scored the first bucket of the game, a three-pointer by senior Kylie LaFrance. They led 30-25 at halftime and extended that lead to 39-30 on back-toback baskets by junior Tianna Pope and senior Claire Bohlen with 13:38 to play in the game.
Three-pointers by TCU senior Gabby Dahlke and junior Grace Hennen, a twopoint basket by junior Audrey Vosejpka, and a free throw by Alexis Marcussen tied the score at 39-all with 11 minutes remaining.
Two minutes later Hennen hit her second three-pointer of the game to give the Titans a 44-42 lead, their first of the game.
TCU went on an 11-2 run over the course of the next four minutes to building a 55-44 lead.
