TCU to return to full-time, in-person learning
Forget distance learning.
Forget hybrid learning.
Remember in-person learning?
That’s exactly what all students and faculty of Tri-City United will do as they return to full, in-classroom education starting February 16.
On Monday, February 8, the TCU school board approved a learning plan that has all students from pre-kindergarten on up to 12th graders returning to their regular schedules as if it were a normal year, and without a late start.
“There has been discussion by the administrative team, along with conversation with both the local county public health and our regional support team, and I come with a proposal to consider a learning model transition,” said TCU Superintendent Lonnie Seifert to the board. “The proposal is that we transition from a hybrid to a full in-person learning model for grades seven through 12.”
