Informational meeting to be held on LCHS lawsuit

Attorneys for the plaintiffs in the lawsuit against the Le Sueur County Historical Society will hold an informational meeting to bring everyone up to speed on Thursday, March 14. It will be held in the 4-H building on the Le Sueur County Fairground at 4:30 p.m.
According to Kevin Wetherille, one of the attorneys from Jaspers, Moriarty & Wetherille, said the meeting will inform anyone interested in the status of their efforts in the LCHS case.
“This will be an open meeting of folks who want to find out what is going on and how we got here. There will be an opportunity to ask questions,” he said.
Wetherille said part of the meeting will be informational for the general public and another part just for the plaintiffs.
“The meeting will have two phases, the first an opportunity for anyone interested in an update on the case to attend and ask questions and then the second phase will be an attorney-client meeting with the plaintiffs and the lawyers to have a confidential meeting,” he stated.
He encouraged everyone who is interested to attend.
“Please spread the word. For the Plaintiff’s, we really hope most of you can meet that night so we can have a good meeting on next steps regarding the nominating committee, etc.”
