SPC graphic artist earns 2nd place in design contest
Suel Printing Company graphic artist Jennifer Leff won second place in the Minnesota Newspaper Association’s 2019 Ad Design Contest.
Studies show that people believe their local newspapers provide the truest information and trust them far more than information found online or on TV. Newspapers continue to have a solid impact on the communities they serve and statistics show that people of all ages consume more news now than ever before. The contest asked designers to tell that important story through a quarter-page full color print ad.
Sixteen people entered the contest, and those attending the Minnesota Newspaper Association annual convention January 24 and 25 voted on their favorite entries.
Leff has worked for Suel Printing for more than three years. She is part of a team that designs ads for all four Suel Printing Company newspapers, The New Prague Times, Montgomery Messenger, Lake Region Life and Elysian Enterprise, as well as The Extra shopper. She also designs printed materials for Suel Printing’s commercial clients.
