Alvin Ambroz, 84

Alvin Ambroz, age 84, of Madelia, MN, formerly of Waterville/New Prague, MN died on Friday, August 10, 2018, at the Madelia Community Hospital.

A Service was held at the Luther Memorial Home, on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 10:00 am, followed by military honors by the Madelia Area Veterans Honor Guard.

The clergy was Father Timothy Hall. Interment was at the Medo-Central Cemetery in Pemberton, MN.

Arrangements were with the Sturm Funeral Home in Madelia. On line condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Alvin was born on January 18, 1934 to Louis and Bessie (Shetka) Ambroz, formerly of Heidelberg. He married Marilyn (Probach) and they had 3 children and later divorced. Alvin was a wonderful man that was loved by many. He always had a joke or something funny to say. Alvin was in the Air Force and then the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean war. When he returned, he drove grain truck for many years in Waseca. When he retired he did some Auctioneering. Alvin also enjoyed fishing, collecting toy trucks and many other collectibles. He loved to listen to Polka music and watch western movies.
Alvin is preceded in death by his parents; sister Beatrice Jilek and brother Ronnie Ambroz.
