The city asks that drivers and residents continue to follow the posted detour signs and avoid the closed off area at County Road 37 and Columbus Avenue. The designated detour is at the signal light at 10th Ave NE (former County Road 37) and Main Street, north and west to Lexington Ave. S., then north on Lexington and Heritage Parkway to 12th Street NE.
It is expected that the intersection of Columbus and Seventh Street will be closed for about two weeks.
