Deborah was born on July 15th 1971 to Joe and Bev (Hobson) Bertrang. Deb graduated from Henderson High School in 1989, where she enjoyed playing sports like volleyball, basketball and softball. She enjoyed playing softball after high school as well. Deb worked for C&S supply in Mankato for 27 years. She then worked at Post in New Hope until she became ill.

Deb married Jeritt Piotter on April, 12th, 1997. They later divorced. This union brought two wonderful children, Tyler and Alison. Deb loved watching them grow up going to all of their sporting and high school events.

Deb met Dan Puetz and they have been together the last 7 years. They enjoyed being together traveling, checking out breweries and vineyards. He brought much joy to Deb. Deb also enjoyed getting together with family, especially the sibling get-togethers we started having in the fall every year.

Deb is survived by her children, Tyler (special friend Carolyn) and Alison (fiancé David), her significant other and best friend Dan Puetz, her mother Bev Bertrang of New Prague, siblings Roxanne (Rodney) Nelson of Brooklyn Park, Mike (Heidi) Bertrang of Annandale, Jeff (Wendy) Bertrang of New Ulm, Sherry (Jessie) Vlasak of Ostrander and Matt (Jodi) Bertrang of Jordan. Dan’s children Drew, Ryan, and Nate Puetz and parents Dennis and Jean Puetz, sisters Shelly and Tom LaLiberte, Dan and Laurie Nelson, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.

Deb was preceded in death by her dad, sister Michelle, grandparents Ernie and Marcella Hobson and Joe and Florence Bertrang.

Deb was taken from us way too soon, but we know she and Dad are joking around and will both be watching over us all.

Thank you to the Mayo Hospice and the Le Sueur Ridgeview staff for the best care she could have gotten. We cannot forget the most wonderful support Deb’s PCA had for her prior to her being hospitalized. She was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond.
