Girls 2nd at WCC East meet

The New Prague Trojan girls track and field team places second of six teams at the Wright County Conference East Championships, held at Trojan Stadium Tuesday, May 15.

New Prague had two first place finishes, with winners earning all-conference honors. Catie Skaja placed first in the 400 meters in a time of 1 minutes, 1.15 seconds. The 4x800 relay team of Kate Chromy, Elsie Hatlevig, Alyssa Bixler and Morgan Brandt placed first in 10:04.44.

Taking second, and earning honorable mention honors, were Chromy (800 m), Lexi Isaacson (100 hurdles), Samantha Kubes (shot put) and Aidan McLoone (triple jump).

Also placing in the top six for the Trojans were: Third - Janae Becher, shot put; McLoone, long jump Fourth - McLoone, 100 m; Hatlevig, 800 m; Jilissa Schoenbauer, shot put and.....
