Governor Dayton appoints Neisen to fill judicial seat

Christopher A. Neisen of New Prague, a partner in Wornson, Goggins, Neisen, Morris and Brever, has been named a District Court Judge in Minnesota’s Third Judicial District.

Neisen will be replacing the Honorable Terrence M. Walters, and will be chambered at Wabasha in Wabasha County. "Neisen will bring a wide range of legal experience, in both public service and private practice, to this important role," said Governor Mark Dayton, who made the appointment."I thank him for agreeing to serve the people of Minnesota as District Court Judge in the Third Judicial District."

Minnesota’s Third Judicial District consists of Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Rice, Steele, Wabasha, Waseca, and Winona counties.

Neisen grew up in the Union Hill area and graduated from New Prague High School and St. John’s University in Collegeville. He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School. In addition to his many legal qualifications, he is a......
