Johnson scores 36 points in loss to Farmington

The New Prague boys basketball team received 36 points from senior guard Parker Johnson in a 65-54 loss to Farmington Thursday, Dec. 19 in New Prague.

Johnson’s efforts were not quite enough as the Tigers pulled out a 65-54 win.

Farmington improved to 4-2 overall while the Trojans dropped to 2-4.

“We had a stretch in the first half where we lacked execution and Farmington was able to build a lead,” Trojan head coach Dan Peterka said. “We competed and were able to cut the lead to four in the second half, but were unable to get over the hump. I was happy with our effort but our execution has to improve.”
