Pauline Lucy Krenik, 92

Pauline Lucy Krenik, 92, of Lonsdale, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at her son’s home in Lonsdale. Visitations was held Monday, March 4 at the Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial was at St. Wenceslaus Church in New Prague at 11am Tuesday, March 5 with Father Thomas Krenik officiating. 

Pauline was born on October 31, 1926 to Florian and Elizabeth (Hoffmann) Busch. Pauline attended St. Benedict School in St. Benedict. She was united in marriage to Donald Krenik on June 8, 1950 at St. Wenceslaus in New Prague. Pauline’s hobbies included sewing, baking, gardening and playing cards. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Many happy memories were shared around the Krenik table. Pauline was involved in many organizations, Lazy Daisy’s Homemakers, Montgomery Senior Citizen’s Card Club, Eucharistic Minister and Altar Rosary Society.

Pauline is survived by her children: Fr. Thomas Krenik of Apple Valley, Patricia (Richard) Preston of St. Paul, Martin (Colleen) Krenik of New Prague, Mary (Greg) Laban of Webster, John Krenik of Plymouth MA, James Krenik of Lonsdale, Donna Morgan of Montgomery, David Krenik of Morristown, Chris (Special Friend Melissa) Krenik of Faribault; Brother, Elgar (Irene) Busch of New Prague; sisters-in-law Rosie Busch of Chaska, Gladys Busch of New Prague, and Doris Krenik of Montgomery; 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.

Pauline is proceeded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents, Florian and Elizabeth Busch; her son, Anthony Krenik; her siblings, Wilbert, Lando, Harold, Edgar, and Oliver Busch; brother-in-law, Richard Krenik; sisters-in-law, Bernadine, Angie, Mary Ann and Louise Busch.
