Prairie Quilters donate antique Bohemian spinning wheel

The New Prague Area Historical Society has a new article in the Centennial Cabin as they now have an antique Bohemian spinning wheel that they acquired with help from the Prairie Quilters of the New Prague Area.

Dennis Dvorak of the historical society explained the handmade spinning wheel had belonged to Emil and Florence Holub. Their daughter Judy Holub Peterson contacted him about the device. “I reached out to the Prairie Quilters if they would help with donating it to the historical society,” said Dvorak. They agreed to help.
