Richard L. Rybak, 57

Richard L. Rybak, age 57 of Savage, passed away on December 4, 2019. Rich was born on January 30^th, 1962 in New Prague to Myles and Jean Rybak. Rich attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, and graduated from New Prague High School.

Rich developed a deep love for sports at an early age. He enjoyed playing basketball and baseball throughout most of his life. This love for sports was passed along to his daughter, Hannah. Rich was a proud father, Hannah’s biggest cheerleader, and a wonderful brother, uncle, friend to many.

Rich enjoyed playing cards, and had a bit of a competitive side to him. He loved to spend time with his friends, and family.   Rich thoroughly enjoyed traveling, and was able to take many memorable trips around the world. Rich’s happy place was in the warm sun enjoying a beer, and the beautiful ocean surrounded by those that he loved.

Rich is survived by his pride and joy, his daughter, Hannah Rybak (Savage); the love of his life, Christine Morabito (Savage); siblings Randall Rybak, San Diego, CA; Sandy and (Alan) Tietz, New Prague; Tom (Susan) Rybak, Brooklyn, NY; and Tim (Lynn) Rybak, New Prague; and many close relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to share memories of Rich on January 25^th, 2020 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at City Club Bar, New Prague.

Rich will be remembered for his kind and gentle demeanor, his wit, his generosity. He will be missed by all of those who loved him, including those who enjoyed his company at McHugh’s and those who enjoyed a great game of Euchre.
