Lorraine Minnie Reineke, 96

Lorraine Minnie Reineke, age 96, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home, Faribault. 

          Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Faribault on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Jared Matthew and the Rev. Daniel D. Mead officiating.  Interment will be at Meadow Ridge Memorial Park, Faribault.

          Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

          Lorraine Minnie, the daughter of Alfred and Agnes (Olson) Kisor was born November 13, 1922 in Morristown. She attended District #54 in Rice County, grades 1-8 and graduated from Morristown High School in 1940.  On March 31, 1942 she was united in marriage to Merle D. Reineke at the Methodist Church in Morristown.  She helped her husband with the farming operation for 63 years.  She taught primary Sunday school class, was a deaconess and served as missionary secretary at First Baptist Church in Morristown until it closed. 

          She is survived by five children, Melvin Reineke of Morristown, Stanley (and Joan) Reineke of Owatonna, Beverley (and Philip) Deming of Coon Rapids, Duane (and Pamela) Reineke of New Richland, and Gloria (and Steve) Seifert of Elysian; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Bonnie Kisor.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle; granddaughter, Krista Reineke; daughter in law, Shelba Reineke; two brothers, Henry and Roger Kisor and two sisters, Mabel Sutlief and Florence Ahlman.
