3rd Annual Hoot Lanes Jr. League Scholarship Tournament Youth bowlers receive more than $2,600 in scholarships
The 3rd Annual Hoot Lanes Youth Scholarship Tournament was held Sunday, March 20, with 16 local youth bowlers competing for scholarships and a tournament title.
Every bowler who participated received at least a $25 scholarship. Scholarship dollars locally totaled $1,650. Another $1,000 was donated by Chuck Gardner’s Bowl- 4life Scholarship Foundation.
The winner of the tournament was Cole Bartz who rolled a 674 series which included handicap. He received a $500 scholarship for his performance. Nathan Boese and Parker Waugh tied for second with scores of 664. They received $225 scholarships. Jared Boese placed fourth and received a $150 scholarship. Placing fifth and receiving a $100 scholarship was Hunter Tonn.
