Elysian Auxiliary celebrates the 4th of July at Traditions in Waterville

In the spirit of togetherness and celebration, the Auxiliary of Elysian reached out to wish Traditions residents, their families and friends a happy Independence Day at their annual picnic and Unit 311 ice cream social. Many of our senior citizens lived during a time when the people of our country embraced that we are blessed to reside in the land of opportunity.

They were determined all that was needed was the right people and the right work ethic and they could accomplish anything; which many local citizens contributed to.

A red carnation and a special message were shared with the eleven veterans who reside at Traditions in Waterville. ‘We honor you and thank you for contributing to our continued independence and freedom.’ On the 4th of July we celebrate the service of the brave military men and women who defend and protect our freedoms in the past, present and future.
