Indians score 12 runs in two innings
After struggling with their offense through six innings, the Waterville Indians amateur baseball team exploded for seven runs in the seventh inning and five in the eighth in their 12-4 win over Minnesota Lake Sunday, June 2 in Waterville.
The Indians only had two hits through six innings before collecting six hits in the seventh inning and three more in the eighth inning of this 13-60 League game.
Dallas McBroom also played a huge part in the victory. He relieved starter Dalton Grose in the middle of the fourth inning and pitched outstanding. He did not allow a run, walked one, allowed one hit, and struck out nine in 6 2/3 innings.
Nolan Grose and Luke Sellner each delivered threerun home runs, one in the seventh and one in the eighth inning.
