Myrna Ann (Daby) Winkelman, 92

Myrna Ann (Daby) Winkelman, age 92, of St. Clair, died Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
She was born on December 8, 1932, in Mankato, a daughter of Ben and Marvel (Jessup) Daby. She graduated from Mankato High School – Class of 1952. On September 19, 1953, she married James A. Winkelman at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Clair. Throughout her life, she worked for Midtex in Mankato, as well as providing home health aide service to her friend Donna Loeffler for 10-15 years. She had a love for artwork and everyone she met. She loved to sing in the choir for church and at weddings. She was very in tune with the history of the town of St. Clair, as well as being an active part of the American Legion. She always donated to the Indigenous People of the America’s as well as Veteran causes. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Clair and was a part of the lady’s aide for most of her life. She was a Godmother to Jimmy Lee Fitzloff, Renae Johnston, Janice Feldbrugge, Nancy Fritzke and Steve Fritzke.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Melody) Winkelman of Mankato and Jeffrey (Mary) Winkelman of Mankato; and one daughter, Marlee Kramer of Waseca. She is also survived by step-grandson, Matthew Kramer; step-great-grandson, Cash Kramer; step-great-granddaughter Aspyn Kramer; sister-in-law, Dianne Daby; special friend, Andrea Depuydt, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended relatives.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; siblings, Mark Daby, Geraldine (Dale) Larvick, Sharon (Roland) Feldbrugge, Vonne (Donald) Knutson; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude (Robert) Fritzke and Gretchen (Frank) Groebner; son-in-law, Ronald Kramer and grandson, Ryan Winkelman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Clair. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
