Ralph A Hagen, 85

Ralph A Hagen, age 85, of Waseca, died on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at his home in rural Waseca.

Born on July 9, 1938, in Waseca, Minnesota, he was the son of Samuel and Ellen (Seljeskog) Hagen. He attended rural country school before attending Waseca Central High School and graduating from the Ag School in Waseca in 1956. Ralph went on to serve in the U.S. Army. Following his discharge in 1962, he returned home and began working in sewer construction, working primarily in the metro area. Ralph enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and trips to Mystic Lake.

He is survived by his brother, Larry and Judy Hagen of Waseca and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lyle Hagen; and sisters, Norma Nelson, Ruth Paulson, and Barbara Van Duyne.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. at the Waterville Chapel of Dennis-Steffel-Omtvedt Funeral and Cremation Services. Graveside services will follow at North Waseca Lutheran Cemetery.
