St. Peter business broken into after fire
Le Sueur County Sheriff Brett Mason reports that on Sunday, June 8, 2025, the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center was contacted by the owners of Neisen’s Sports Bar, located on State Highway 99, in Kasota Township, of a break-in to the bar.
Deputies responded to the location and spoke with the owners of the sports bar, who advised the bar has been closed since the fire. They reported that unknown subject(s) broke into the bar between Friday, June 6th at approx. 5pm and Sunday June 8th, at 3pm.
Deputies would review/ examine the scene. It was determined that unknown subject(s) had forced entry to building by prying open a door. After entering the building, the unknown subjects removed copper pipes from the bathroom and utility room areas and copper wiring from the electrical panels and other areas. Along with inflicting extensive damage to an empty ATM.
Owners of the sports bar are still collecting information related to the damage costs for the damage that was inflicted by the subject(s).
Sheriff Mason advises that the Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the breakin and he advised that if you have any information related to this break-in, contact the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office at (507) 357-4440.
