Thomas Edward Crawmer, Sr, 87

Tom died peacefully at the Northfield Care Center surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the age of 87.
He was born in Zanesville, OH on August 2, 1934 to Clinton and Lillian (Kreuter) Crawmer. Tom graduated from Zanesville High School in 1952. He joined the Naval Reserves in 1952 and was active for 6 years. He was married in 1957 and had 2 sons. They later divorced. He married Jeannette (Bethke) Hintz on June 6, 1966. He adopted her 4 children and she adopted his 2 boys and they had a daughter together. They raised their children in rural Kilkenny, MN. Tom and Jeannette moved to Elysian, MN in 2002 and made many friends.
Tom was survived by his wife Jeannette, his children Thomas Crawmer Jr.(Elysian), Julie Anne (Rod) Lehmann(Faribault), Karen Hintz (Madison Lake), Dan Crawmer(Faribault), Ivaleen (Tim) Brase(Medford), and Kathleen (Darren) Roemhildt(Owatonna), 15 Grandchildren, and many Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton T. Crawmer and Lillian Madden, Step Parents, Mary Crawmer and Ted Madden, Mother-in-law, Adeline (Mundt) Bethke, Son Clinton M. Crawmer, Grandson Colby C. Crawmer and Brother-in-law Donald Bethke.
A private service for family will be held at Elysian UMC and a Public Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the Legion in Elysian, MN at 1 p.m.
