Donald Budin, 83

Donald J Budin, age 83, of Le Center, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Le Center Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. with a KC service at 7:30 p.m. 

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Aug. 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center. Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Le Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer Association.

Donald was born on August 8, 1935, to Joseph and Lillian (Krenik) Budin. He graduated from Le Center High School in 1952. On September 7, 1960, Donald married Mary Terese (Clarkin) at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Shieldsville. He took over his family’s farm where he enjoyed farming until his retirement. He always enjoyed his family, farming and playing cards, especially Pfeffer. 

Donald is survived by his wife, Mary Terese Budin; six children, Denise (David) Muehlberg of Brooklyn Park, Diane (Gary) Burrow of Apple Valley, Bob (Michele) Budin of Eagan, Terry (Jackie) Budin of Savage, Tim (Brenda) Budin of Le Center, and Russ (Michelle) Budin of Rosemount; one sister, Arlene Lukes of Le Center; 18 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Agnes Budin; brother-in-law, Bill Hoffman; and many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lillian Budin; brother, James Budin, and sisters, Delia Blaschko and Lilian Hoffman, brother-in-law, Donald Lukes.
