James Joseph Trzecinski, 87
James Joseph Trzecinski, age 87, of Montgomery, died on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Le Sueur. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. all held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Fr. Timothy Sandquist officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
James was born on August 19, 1937, in Le Sueur County to John and Martha (Cemensky) Trzecinski. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and McKinley High School both in Le Center. He worked at Polar Panel in Montgomery, Thermo King in Bloomington, was an over the road truck driver traveling extensively and also a gravel truck driver. He enjoyed the outdoors - hunting, trapping, and fishing.
James is survived by children, Jeremy James Kotek of Montgomery, Stephanie (Kevin) Nickolay of Montgomery; grandchildren, Brandon Nickolay, Cole Nickolay, Grant Nickolay, Jaelyn Kotek, and Macklin Kotek; 3 great-grandchildren; special friend, Shirley Kotek of Montgomery; his sister, Mary Trzecinski of Minnetonka; brother, Leo (Kathy) Andrews of St. Louis Park; sister-in-law, Norma Trzecinski; nieces and nephews, Mary Ann (Steve) Wroblewski, Larry Trnka, Ron Trnka (Marilyn), Tim (Deb) Trnka, Jim (Kathryn) Trcka, Patricia (Archie) Tupy, Nancy Trcka, Marcie Trcka, Kathryn Wiskocil, Jim Kimes, Bob Kimes, Steve Kimes, and Theresa Kimes.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Margaret Trcka, Katie Trnka, John Trzecinski, Regina Catherine, and Bernard Trzecinski; nephews, Bernie Trnka, Robert Trcka, Ralph Trzecinski, and Dave Kimes.
