Wellness Workshop opens
Three local wellness practitioners are now offering their services under one roof in downtown Montgomery.
Yogis Missy Gregor and Jordan Friendshuh have teamed up with evolve Fitness instructor Becki Lundquist to create Wellness Workshop, a shared space where they can bring their gifts to the community. The business, which is located at 120 First Street North, opened in November 2022
. “Each of us have held classes in the area for a number of years—often at a school gym in town or in a classroom when the gym isn’t available. It worked, but we were always hauling our equipment and having to adapt to the various spaces,” Gregor stated. “It’s so nice to have a space of our own, a place to welcome everyone and focus on wellness.”
Gregor has been teaching group fitness classes since 2015 and holds certifications in Vinyasa, Kundalini, Ayurveda, Sculpt, and Trauma-Informed Yoga. She is also a Les Mills BodyBalance instructor and Warrior Rhythm Instructor.
“Yoga is for everybody,” Gregor stated. “During my classes, I offer modifications so every level of Yogi can feel successful in their journey.”
