Richard “Dick” Gregor, 82

Richard “Dick” Francis Gregor, 82, of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Central Health Care in Le Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery at noon with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.

Richard was born on April 30, 1939, in Faribault to Mary (Kotek) and Ambrose Gregor. He was united in marriage to Marge Grundhoffer on December 26, 1964, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Richard was a graduate of Montgomery High School, and he attended the University of Minnesota. Richard was drafted into the United States Army.

He worked at Green Giant in Montgomery for 38 years. During his retirement, he worked at Don’s Foods in New Prague. He was a devout Catholic and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, spending time with his grandchildren, family vacations and fishing trips up north. He had an impressive display of fishing and hunting trophies.

Richard was a huge supporting fan of all Montgomery-Lonsdale sports, even following them after his children graduated. He was an avid listener of KCHK and enjoyed watching the Minnesota Twins, Gophers, Vikings, and Lynx.

Richard is survived by his wife, Marge Gregor of Montgomery; children Rick (Lori) Gregor of Prior Lake, Julie (Adam) Stone of Woodbury, Todd (Michele) Gregor of Waconia, Brad (Debbie) Gregor of New Prague, Jodi (Phil) Werner of New Prague, Mark (Nikki) Gregor of Lonsdale, Kari (Jeff) Rosival of Eagle Lake; siblings, Cletus (Jean) Gregor of Kilkenny, Dale (Susan) Gregor of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; grandchildren, Jenna Gregor and Maddie (Luke) Zahm, Carter, Ryan, and Jon Stone, Abbey and Jacob Gregor, Kaleb, Justin, and Benett Gregor, Kassie, Mariah, Belle, and Sam Werner, Morgan and Dylan Gregor, Kale and Jada Rosival; great-grandchildren, Eli Werner, and Emery Jaworski.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Darryll Gregor, James Gregor, Duane Gregor; and granddaughter, Morgan Mary Gregor.
