Seifert takes job with GFW District
New Prague High School principal Lonnie Seifert has been named superintendent of the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop school district, effective July 1. The appointment is subject to approval by the GFW School Board on Monday. One approved, he will submit his resignation as principal effective June 30.
Seifert has been with the New Prague Area School District since 2006, when he was hired as assistant principal. He became principal in the fall of 2013. Prior to that he was an administrator in the Rocori school district and taught, coached and was Activities Director at Montgomery-Lonsdale. He began his teaching career in Henderson.
