Power outage at district office moves board meeting date

A blown transformer late Monday afternoon near the New Prague Area Schools Central Education Campus has resulted in a power outage at the building. Because the building is on emergency power, tonight's scheduled school board meeting will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, April 24) at 6 p.m.

According to Superintendent Tim Dittberner, In order to meet public meeting notice laws, board members will convene at 6 p.m. tonight, as scheduled, and immediately recess the meeting until Tuesday.
