Shirley M. Britten, 80

Shirley M. Britten,  age 80, of Webster., passed away February 7, 2023.  Preceded in death by parents David and Ruth and brother Duane.  

Shirley enjoyed socializing and traveling with friends as part of the Corvette Club.  She went on many road trips taking her across the country.  Many days were characterized by blue sky and lots of sunshine, and she loved soaking up the sun and taking in the beautiful scenery.Shirley’s greatest joy was her family and watching her grandchildren do the things they love to do; we all benefited from the love she showed us.  She was kind, courageous and humble, but most of all present.  She never missed a game.  She loved a good cup of coffee in the morning while watching for deer out her back window and truly enjoyed cheering on the Minnesota Twins and Green Bay Packers.  Survived by loving husband James of 58 years, son Andrew (Sheena); grandchildren, Lenna and Drew; brother Dennis (Jean) Stencil and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral service Thursday, Feb. 16, 11:00 A.M. at Church of the Risen Savior 1501 County Road 42E Burnsville, MN  55306.  Visitation Wednesday, Feb. 15, 5-7 P.M. at White Funeral Home 20134 Kenwood Trail Lakeville, MN  55044.  Flowers can be sent to White Funeral Home.
