Wilson J. “Butch” Peterman, 72

Wilson J. “Butch” Peterman, age 72, of Le Center, died on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Central Health Care in Le Center. Graveside service to be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Friday, July 5 at 11 a.m. Honors will be given by the Fort Snelling Cemetery Honor Guard.

Butch was born on July 20, 1951, in Farmington to Lawrence and Rosalyn (Blackford) Peterman.  He was a Lakeville High School graduate. He served in the United States Marines during Vietnam and received a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a Good Conduct Medal.  He worked for Dispatch Industries in Lakeville for 4 decades.

Butch is survived by his sons, Travis Peterman of Le Center and Mikeal Peterman of Arizona; first wife, Cheryl Davis of Bullhead, Arizona; brothers, Rand Peterman, Daniel Dirks, and Joe Dirks; sisters, Bobbi Jo Robinson and Kim Marie Merdith.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jon; second wife, Janice; third wife, Lori.
