Belle Plaine ends WEM baseball season

A fantastic run through the Section 2AA baseball tourney came to an end Tuesday, June 5 when Belle Plaine defeated WEM, 7-2, to end the Buccaneer season. WEM won four of six games in the Section tourney, including a 2-1 win over No. 1 seed St. Peter Tuesday night. WEM finished 3rd in the Section and finished with a 14-6 overall record.
