Waterville Police asking for public's help

On February 28th, 2019 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Le Sueur County dispatch received a call regarding a home break-in on the 400 block of Main Street East in the City of Waterville. A Waterville Police Officer arrived at the residence shortly after. The officer was advised by the owner that they were woken up by a loud banging noise and the sound of breaking glass. The owner then went to the stairs and witnessed a male wearing a white hoody and dark jacket in their home. The owner yelled at them and they fled the scene.

Waterville Police located a party of interest and collected evidence from the scene. This incident is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waterville Police Department by calling 362-4244.
