WEM Board approves resignation
The WEM Board of Education approved the resignation of board member Rachel Androli during a special meeting Monday, Aug. 6. Androii is currently running for Waseca County attorney and in event she was to win this election, she could not hold two elected positions at one time. Announcing her resignation at this time saves the district the cost of holding a special election for her position at a later date. There are five of the seven spots up for the election on the WEM Board. Androli's spot is a two-year term. There are four, four-year terms also available. Check out the Aug. 8 edition of the LIFE/Enterprise for more on the resignation and current filings for city and school board positions.
