Natasha “Tasha” (Siefker) Cook, of New Prague, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2026, at the age of 48. She was surrounded by her two sisters and her three beloved children, who were the greatest loves of her life.
A celebration of Tasha’s life was held on August 28, 2026, at Brighton Beach in Duluth, Minnesota - a favorite destination where she loved taking her children to search for sea glass. Extended family and loved ones gathered to honor her life in a place that brought her so much peace.
Although her life was far too short, the love Tasha gave will continue through her children and through every person whose life she touched. Tasha was full of ambition and resilience. She had an adventurous spirit and was always looking for new ways to connect with nature. She loved camping, biking, and spending time outdoors. Nature was where she found so much peace.
Tasha was intelligent, talented, and had a contagious smile. She graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with her degree in nursing and began her career in the ICU at Methodist Hospital. She later returned to school and earned her master’s degree in nurse anesthesia. Through her work, Tasha touched many lives and cared for patients and families during some of their most difficult moments.
Tasha is survived by her loving children, Clara, Kate, and Cal; her mother, Diane Siefker; and her siblings, August Siefker and his wife, Amy (Rickert) Siefker; Katrina Yoon (Siefker); Heidi Pexa (Siefker) and her husband, Dale Pexa Jr.; Hans Siefker and his wife, Karen (Kelly) Siefker; and Konrad Siefker. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Tasha’s children will carry her love with them every day, and she will forever remain a part of who they are.
Rest peacefully, Tasha. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
