Violet Irene Pauline Kolander Kaisershot, age 98, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on Monday, November 18, 2024. Services were held on Tuesday, November 26.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will continue one hour prior to the service ALL at the funeral chapel.

Rosella "Rosie" (Novotny) Skluzacek, 87, of Northfield, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, November 16, 2024, at Northfield Retirement Community.
She is survived by her two daughters: Mercedes (Robert) Maier of Northfield and Merceday (Bruce) Kaardal of Redwood Falls; five grandchildren, Erin, Kirsten, Alison, Mark, and Joel; four great-grandchildren; other family members; and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Steve A. Simon, age 78, of Montgomery, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Steve was born on October 1, 1946, in Sioux City, IA, to Andrew and Clara (James) Simon.  He proudly graduated from Central High School in Sioux City and then went on to accomplish both his Bachelor of Science and MBA from the University of South Dakota.  

Ronald Joseph Rosival, age 78, of Lonsdale, passed away peacefully  surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Shieldsville with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m. with Fr. Timothy Sandquist officiating. Interment will be held in the Trebon Cemetery in Shieldsville. Military Honors provided by the Montgomery area Veterans Honor Guard.

Irene B. Ceplecha, age 94, of New Prague, died peacefully at Mala Strana Assisted Living with her family at her side on Friday, November 1, 2024. Irene was born on November 14, 1929, in New Prague, to Emil and Bessie (Novak) Ziskovsky. Raised in Veseli on the family farm she attended Most Holy Trinity Catholic School.

Delores G. “Dee” Heyda, age 90, of Faribault, passed away on October 31, 2024, at Milestone Senior Living.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Faribault, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault. 
A memorial visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Gloria A. Kovall, age 85, of Annandale, died on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Annandale Care Center.
A Requiem High Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Traditional Catholic Church, Sartell with Fr. Nino Molina officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Misty Marie (Looft) Lobeck passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, after a courageous fight with cancer. 
Misty was born on March 18, 1978, to Dale and Gail Looft in Spirit Lake, Iowa.  She graduated from Montgomery – Lonsdale High School in 1996.  She participated in band playing the clarinet and earned the honor of being chosen to participate in the All State Band her senior year.
Misty's amazing memory and gift of organization allowed her to become a valuable team member in the materials department at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, MN, for 22 years.

Janice Marie Sticha, age 81, of Lonsdale passed away peacefully and unexpectedly, on October 11, 2024, following a brief illness.  Born on June 12, 1943, Janice lived a life marked by quiet strength and grace.  She faced adversity with courage, an attribute that defined her throughout her life.  She was a cherished and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, caring, resilience, and wisdom.

James Joseph Trzecinski, age 87, of Montgomery, died on Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Le Sueur. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. all held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Fr. Timothy Sandquist officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.

David Edel had a beautiful soul, and his spirit left a mark on so many people throughout his lifetime. He was born in New Prague on October 9, 1951, to George and Gretchen Edel (maiden name Richter), the youngest of 3 children. He grew up in Montgomery, graduated from Montgomery-Lonsdale High School, and attended college at the University of Minnesota. Around 1970, he hitched a ride to San Francisco to pursue his spiritual journey. In California he met Carol Gelband, with whom he would marry and bring two sons into this world. 

David George Edel passed on from this earth in the early morning of August 26, 2024, at his home in Naples, Florida. A celebration of life gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday October 12, at Richter Woods—35674 173rd Ave, Montgomery, MN, 56069.

Kathy Beatty passed away at her home in Montgomery, MN, on September 23, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born in McGrath, MN, on July 19, 1938, to Simon & Julia (Bolan) Schwarzbauer. Kathy moved to St. Paul, MN, shortly after her graduation from McGrath High School.
In February 1957, she married Leonard Beatty at Sacred Heart Church in Wahkon, MN & together they raised six children.

James Edward “Jimmer” Reiter, age 82, of Montgomery, died on Saturday, September 21, 2024, in Montgomery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25 from 4-7 p.m. at Schoenbauer Funeral Home in Montgomery. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 26 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Timothy Sandquist officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Montgomery area American Legion Honor Guard. Interment will be held at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Montgomery.
