Irene C. Buresh, age 85 of Jordan, entered eternal life on July 30, 2021. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, Prior Lake. Irene will be laid to rest at St. Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery. Father Michael Miller will preside, and Irene’s grandchildren will act as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be distributed by Irene’s family to her favorite charities. Cards may be mailed to Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation; 104 First St. W.; Jordan, MN 55352.

Annette “Ann” Eischens, age 75, of Prior Lake, MN passed away peacefully on July 30, 2021 at Grainwood Senior Apartments in Prior Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Prior Lake. Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Interment Credit River Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be distributed in Ann’s name by her family.

Richard “Dick” Francis Gregor, 82, of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Central Health Care in Le Center. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Montgomery at noon with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.
Richard was born on April 30, 1939, in Faribault to Mary (Kotek) and Ambrose Gregor. He was united in marriage to Marge Grundhoffer on December 26, 1964, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Bryan Charles Tupy, age 31, of Jordan, died suddenly at his home on Monday, July 26, 2021.  Bryan was born on January 25, 1990 to Chuck and Shelly (Walerius) Tupy.  He attended St. Wenceslaus School, graduated from New Prague High School, attained a B.S. in Fish and Wildlife Biology from the University of North Dakota, and then got his associate degree in Law Enforcement from Alexandria Technical and Community College.  He married the love of his life, Annalee Koonst at St.

Mary Margaret Walker, age 80, of New Prague, died unexpectedly with her husband at her side of complications from pancreatitis at Fairview Southdale Hospital on December 29, 2020. Mary was born on November 13, 1940 in Minneapolis to Andrew and Lylis (Blanchard) Jones. 

Carol Tupy, age 72, of New Prague, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at her home on July 16, 2021. Even though she struggled with Rheumatoid Arthritis for the past several years, that never affected the smile on her face and her desire to spend time with family and friends. Carol was born on January 24, 1949 to Frank and Mayme Simon. After graduating from New Prague High School, Carol married Myron Tupy at St. Wenceslaus Church September 9, 1967. The couple settled on the Tupy Family homestead to raise their five children.

Rodney Joseph Soukup, 82, passed away at home on June 23, after a 10-month-long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Faribault, Minnesota, on March 9, 1939, Rod grew up in Montgomery, Minnesota, and received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota.

Shirley M. Kohout, age 80, of New Prague, died peacefully with her family at her side at her home on Thursday, July 8, 2021.  Shirley was born on February 10, 1941 in New Prague to Fred and Marcella (Svobodny) Witt.  She graduated from New Prague High School and went to work at Queen of Peace Hospital.  She married the love of her life, her neighborhood sweetheart, Martin J. “Marty” Kohout on February 17, 1962 at St.

Together in heaven. 
Betty (Elizabeth) was born November 19, 1937 in St. Paul.  Died May 11, 2020 in New Prague at home on hospice.
Dave was born February 23, 1934 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  Died July 3, 2021 in New Prague at home on hospice. 

Robert F. Bastyr, age 78 of Jordan, died November 29, 2020, due to complications of Covid-19 at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis. A graveside service was held December 4, 2020 at St. Wenceslaus cemetery. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Wenceslaus Church on Saturday July 17th, at 11 am.

Reynold Schoenbauer died November 10, 2020 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville Ohio, his death was due to Coronary Artery Disease.
He was born May 7, 1934 to parents Joseph L. and Helen Novotny Schoenbauer in New Prague, Le Sueur County, Minnesota.
His funeral was held November 16, 2020 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville, Ohio with Interment to be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in New Prague, MN, which will include a graveside service beginning at 10 AM and a Celebration of Life to follow at the KC Hall in New Prague, MN.

Martha Marie Kadrlik, 95, of Zumbrota, MN, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital.
Martha (Preslicka) Kadrlik was born on March 8, 1926, in Cedar Lake Township. Attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School and New Prague High School. She married Myles Kadrlik in 1945, they resided in New Prague before moving to Rochester, MN in 1999. In 2018, she moved to Zumbrota Care Center.
Martha was an avid reader and fond of gardening, but above all cared for her family. She brought a smile to everyone who met her.

Linda Carol Solheim, age 72, of Minnetonka/Chanhassen, died peacefully with her husband at her side at her home on Monday, June 21, 2021.  Linda was born on December 21, 1948 in Minneapolis to Harold and Esther (Torgerson) Petsch.  She graduated from Bloomington Lincoln High School and went on to attain her Bachelor’s Degree in German from Hamline University. 

Barbara Ann Shoenbauer was born on November 8th, 1932 in New Prague, Minnesota, to Clement and Luverne (Nolden) Mickus. Barbara was baptized and confirmed at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, MN, and graduated from New Prague High School in 1950. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Clem Schoenbauer at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church on August 25th, 1956. Throughout her life, Barbara remained an active member of the St. Wenceslaus Catholic parish.

Margaret A. “Maggie” Knight, age 92, of New Prague, died peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.  Maggie was born on January 2, 1929 in Walhalla, North Dakota, to Felix Arthur and Stella (Halloran) Gastonguay.  She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Fargo and attended Minneapolis School of Business and attained a degree in Interior Design.  She married Kenneth Knight, Jr. on January 24, 1949 at the Basilica of St.

Judith M. “Judie” Cervenka, age 77, of New Prague, died Thursday June 10, 2021 at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN surrounded by family.
Judie was born on November 28, 1943 in New Prague to Emil F. and Mary N. (Novak) Bisek.  Judie graduated from St. Wenceslaus School and New Prague High School,
Judie married Daniel T. Cervenka on Sept. 9, 1961 at St. Wenceslaus Church in New Prague.  The couple settled to raise their family at St. Patrick on the Cervenka farm.
