Janice "Jan" A. Steinhaus, age 89, of Waterville, died on the evening of Thursday, October 24, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Betty Lou Hammargren died peacefully at Carondelet Village in St. Paul on October 20, 2024. She was born in Kilkenny, Minnesota, on December 17, 1926. She attended St. Canice Catholic Grade School, Montgomery High School and was a graduate of St. Catherine's University.

Rohn Duane Halvorson, age 70 of Elysian, died on the morning of Monday, October 21, 2024, at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

Leon A. Dahle, age 82, of Morristown, passed peacefully in the early morning hours of October 13, 2024.

Carolyn “Tulla” Bess Stordahl, 79, of Grand Forks, ND, and longtime resident of Grafton, ND, and Elysian, MN, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, October 18, 2024, at Maple View Memory Care in Grand Forks.

Robert Lawrence Grundhoffer, age 86, of Waterville, died Monday, October 7, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System – Mankato.

Donald Joseph Kewatt, age 85, of Kilkenny, died on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Central Healthcare in Le Center. 
Born on October 12, 1938, in Kilkenny Township, Le Sueur County, he was the son of Theodore and Helen (Boldt) Kewatt. Donald attended Le Center High School, graduating with the class of 1956. On November 30, 1961, he was drafted into the United States Army serving until his honorable discharge on November 29, 1963. In 1972, Donald continued his education at Ag School in Mankato until 1975. 

Carl Norris Hutchison passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, at the age of 75 at the Minnesota Veterans Home in Minneapolis, MN. Carl was born in Woodland, CA, on November 30, 1948, to Marrietta “LaVerne” (Odom) & Register Hutchison. He lived in Orangevale, CA, until age 13 when his family returned to southeast MO where he resided until he joined the U.S. Army in 1968.

Robert Charles “808” Schostag, age 77, of Waterville, died Friday, September 13, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System - Mankato.

Her chores are done. The calves have been fed. The last bottle is washed. Marian Saemrow died at home on September 8, 2024, at age 97. Marian Magdalena Marquardt was born on April 3, 1927, to William and Alma (Burzlaff) Marquardt in Dodge County, MN. She received her 8th grade education from a country school. In her younger years she raised chickens and sold eggs. She was also a piano player and would accompany services at Grace Lutheran Church in Dodge Center.  

Ralph Stanley Nusbaum, age 85, of Waterville, died on the morning of Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Foxdale in Waseca.

Eileen Ann Morgan, age 92, of Janesville, died on Friday, August 23, 2024, at Whispering Creek in Janesville.
Born on August 28, 1931, in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of George and Goldie (Armstrong) Berry. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1949 where she was crowned Homecoming Queen. She went on to attend Mankato Commercial College.

James W. Hermel, age 74, of Faribault and formerly Morristown, died on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Morristown on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Weslie Odom officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Morristown.
Visitation will be at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Betty Ann Wolff, age 88, of Waterville died on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Traditions of Waterville. 

Linda Jane Schwartz, age 80, of Waterville, died Monday, July 29, 2024, at Traditions Assisted Living Facility in Owatonna.
